Spark plug stuck in the head

i borrowed my mates touring and the half the spark plug is left in the thread what is the best way to get it out?

Whatever you have to do, start soaking the thread in WD40. It might loosen it up enough to tap the thread round if there's enough to get at.

Cheers the problem is that it is in the head nearest to the fire wall. the bolt of the plug and all the other bit is in one piece in the ht lead including the little carbon head thingy it is just the thread stuck in the thread of the block with the hook bit which is obviously connected. i iwll try and post some pics.
