sunroof will not open

hi guys my sunroof will not open when i push the button i can hear the motor going but will not move.sounds like it may of come of its track or somethink.is there a way to open the sunroof manualy so i can have a look. many thanks devonboye30

one thing i can say an this is goin of experience from another thread (sunroof removal)is be careful i fitted a new
motor and relay thinking hey presto its working again only to find that one side of my runners it moves on had slightly seized due to not bieng in action for so long or ever an thus nackering my sunroof .

Remove the little inspection panel under the motor, slacken off the big hex nut a few turns, insert your hex allen key into the centre of the motor assembly shaft, and gently rock the allen key over and back while assisting the roof to move by hand until it starts to move.
When you have it open, grease everything up that should be greased, tighten up the big hex nut, and all should be well.

thanks brian ur a star works lovely now and put new grease on the runners
