Hey guys

Fairly sure im gonna bite the bullet and do a head rebuild. My rockers have worn a groove in my cam lobes (180k with full service), so id like to replace the cam. Would there be any point in an aftermarket cam, i mean i dont wanna pay £250odd for ' yeah you can kindof notice a bit more top end'. If its obviously gonna be quicker then ill happily pay . Would i need a vernier, i cant see there being too many gains with just a camshaft if you cant optimise it.
How does the management cope?

Many thanks chaps

Cat cam dude, proven in the application, high lift not long duration so MOT safe and the powerband will not be pushed too far up the rev range, works well with chipped std ECU setup too.

Vernier not compulsory on the B25 , use with stock pulley without issues.

I've supplied and fitted many of these, always put a smile on peoples faces

go for it, definitley makes a difference, if your rebuilding the head you might as well do it properly while you have the chance

If you're doing the head get a cam. Something along the lines of "Fast Road" wold do the trick. Get some decent work done on the head and a decent exhaust (if you haven't already got one) and you'll notice it.
