where can i get the black hose that goes from the afm to the throttle body as mine is ripped?

what are the effects of a ripped afm hose? can i tape it up?

Buy a new one from BMW, or zimmerbimmer on here, a new one is only about £12.

Give him the last seven digits of your VIN, as there are variations.
Symptoms are severe hesitation when accelerating and possible molten pistons.

As Brian says, a part number is not possible, it depends on the shape of the ICV, and some have a take off for the vacuum pipes for the brakes.

By noting the VIN of the donor car!
In the absence of that, is the ICV L shaped or T shaped, and is there a branch that goes to a brake servo valve?

This is the one on a 325i face lift model I believe this is a T type.
