Hi there,

I currently have an Nissan SR20DET powered E30. My car is old as is the dash, its not just that my dash is dated (which it is) but its that it has cracks all over it? Can you tell me if an E36 dash will go in? Wiring isnt a problem I just want to know whats involved in fitting it?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks...

Kish

make your avatar much much much smaller please.

and welcome. where are you from? don't recognise the plate! :D

E36 dash's will go in, but need a nip and tuck to fit, I know ists been done but by all accounts it was ver very very hard. Its too much trouble to really bother when an uncracked E30 dash would take a morning to fit, would be cheaper, and the dash would be in keeping with the rest of the car!

Hi,

Thanks for adjusting the picture. Didnt know how?

Does anyone have any pictures of the e36 dash in an e30 as you are right it may not suite the style of the car. But I recon it would look pretty cool. Plates are Thai.

Also, what suspensions do you guys use on the e30 for drift setup? and what suspension upgrates are available over there? like poly bushes, lower strut braces etc.

There was an E30 with a 2.8 engine conversion on here for sale a while back that had the E36 dash. I think it was featured in TBMW also. Looked a bit odd IMO.
