Easiest check to see if injectors are working is to smell the exhaust pipe after cranking.
Engines are fairly simple things. Appropriate amount of fuel injected, compression, and a spark at about the right time, and it will run! If it doesn't, one or more of these is missing.

Should smell of fuel if it's being injected and not burnt.

After cranking it over have you removed a plug to check if it is wet with fuel?

i remember a buddy who had the same problem. checked everything, changed everything but no luck. what we did was we exchanged the fuel pump relay with the head light relay (they're about the same) then alas! it started! your problem might be a shot relay. worth checking them out :D

If you check your profile, there's a Time Zone section, where you can put your real time in (hours + or - GMT...)
Currently slumming it in an E46 Touring

It probably isn't this, but could it be that the spark leads are connected to the wrong sparks? As in the wrong spark fires (in the wrong cylinder)? Just thinking of possible reasons, sometimes the solution is so simple it can miss people's attention...

Think this one's been solved in another thread!
Apparently the two parts of the front pulley have come apart!
