Hi everyone and yes I know there's an piece about this in the Articles section - but I have a slightly different problem developed and I cant find any mention of it so thought I'd ask!

My wipers used to stutter every now and then on the intermittent setting and no, I never got round to sorting the problem out. They dont seem to do it as much lately. But now, a slightly different thing happens on the intermittent setting. That is that they start off intermittent but then suddenly change to full speed instead. Anyone else had this, and if so do you think it's down to the same problem? Sounds like it should be the switch to me?

Cheers

New one to me, but the stuttering on intermittent = arcing on the relay contacts in the wiper control module.
Maybe the arcing has built up the contacts and they are shorting out, so try a different control module (large black
rectangular 'relay' in the fusebox.)
