have now fitted the correct coding plug to my obc ....the readings were a bit out before but now with the new plug they dont seem any different do you have to do a sort of re-set on the obc to get it to recognise the new code plug ...ie battery off for a few mins or should it spot it and sort it itself

hi

there is some sort of adjustment on the obc for the range button and amount of fuel left in the tank.

it located on the bottom left of the obc, i think its a phillips + screw driver small one tho, that might need to adjusting. ive currently replaced mine and ive got like 20 quids worth of fuel and it telling me ive got 30 miles range haha crazy obc.

Hi Gazza

After changing the coding plug are you now getting the correct figures for your car. I would like to know if it is giving the correct figures.

Thanks

my obc code plug was about 25 pounds it was ordered by the dealer from germany and arrived within 3 days it does work my only gripe is the consumption figures. it never gives figures doing better than 16.2 mpg when i know it does at least 25mpg the speed is right because your own speedo is never accurate as it only has to read within a percentage of true speed to comply with legislation at 100mph on the speedo it was showing 89.4 mph on the obc which i would say is right. everything else is ok
