First thoughts it was the battery, nope, fully charged. Then we checked the starter and it wouldn't kick in, only when we jumped it. Changed the starter and still wont start, has any1 any idea what else could be doing this.

I had a problem somewaht to yours. Basically, i have had a new battery and new stasrter mcuh like yourself. When icome to start it....no clicks.....not attempt forthe starter to churn over or anything......just the dash lights blink as if its attempting to start.
Well i also thought it was the "phontomn terminasl" You'll notice that some partso f it conduct, and some dont, check that its clean, wire brush it why not, i did.
Also my problem was traced back to under the steering wheel, under the where the ECU is.............basicaly from the igntion barrel is a wire......
"no realy" which conects into a multiplug/block.........mine was green......but not sure what the official colour is........well i found it was loose.....fidddled with it.......and hey presto.....starter began spinnig.
It seems to me that the starter is not getting a signal......mcuh liek mine didnt......and when i jumped mine......it sued to start toooo
SO check that buddy
