sunroof problem

hello zoners.

when i try opening my elec sunroof it starts opening then stops.
so i release the button and repress the sunroof starts again and then stops
and this go on and on and on.
the same problem when closing.

do you think the motor ia at fault.(ive had it out and checked it on the bench and it operates ok when not under load).
ive changed the switch.
have you had the same problem.
hope its not the cable worn

contacts are were clean i checked when i was refitting the motor.

never gave the relay a thought will check it over the weekend

and will have a look at the seal(will try some wd40 on it)

Maybe the nut(around the emergency closing allen key) is too tight?
I recently sorted a faulty electric roof out(different problem) and when testing the final job had the same issue as you.Loosened the said nut a little and sorted it!
Worth a go,failing that id guess the relay.
