We have had a lot of drizzly and very damp weather this morning when i started the car it was running normal. drove for 2 miles and stopped.after 5 mins started up and the car started "hunting" for it's tickover nearly cutting out at one point.apart from tis the car is running fine. could this be caused by the damp weather and all it needs is a spray of WD40 :) or the start of somthing bad.
all advice greatly received.

first check would be the ICV, do a little search for idle problems and there should be a nice little list of things to check!

hope that helps
