Hi I have a 1987 (chrome bumper) cabrio. It origionally had the factory fitted alarm system, with the key thingy in the drivers door. This has been removed (not by me) and I think this is what has made the central locking stop. I have got a new central locking unit (the one that goes behind the speaker in the drivers footwell) but still nothing. I am sure there is a link on here sumwhere for this kind of problem, and is it possible to have the central locking working with out the alarm system, and want to check the actators on each door, how is this done?

Thanks

Ian
