Apparently I need some subframe bushes as mine are knackered. However, it seems that's not actually the name used for them. Can anyone shed some light for me?

Car is an '89 316i

Either "Rear Beam Bushes" or "Rear Axle Carrier Bushes"....

Hi - BMW Specialist looked at my car this pm and told me I need the axle carrier bushes and quoting around £150. Unfortunately, that's not all the car needs as differential bush perished and leaking oil. I think both are MOT failures. Maybe there was something else too, but by then at £3-400 I stopped hearing! It'll have to be done though, else no car. :( :(
