Well after the auto electrician took apart half of my e30 he also spotted that the heater matrix was leaking.
My question is fairly obvious here so here goes.
Could anyone give me any tips or guidelines to follow before i swap/change it over tomorrow? I have never done one before, is it a job for a pro or would i be ok? :)

Thank you

Olly

Quite a bit of work to replace the complete blower unit for a novice. Dash out, open top of bulkhead. Depends if you're feeling brave I suppose :?

It's only the matrix or heater valve that he wants to change! Only the centre console and glove box panels to come out!

It's just that leaking heater valves are common; matrixes not so common.

You might have to remove some of the metalwork for the brake servo bell crank as well to get the matrix out.
