I need to remove the window glass from my cabrio door. Anyone know how? Seems like the runner pictured is holding it in?

Thanks

hiya mate taking the window out is not too hard but puting it back in is very hard lol..

take off your door card then basically u got ten mill nuts bolts and a few ten mill nnuts wat to do is open all of them and then u will have one nut on the motor looen that as much as u can get somebody to hold the window and wind it up or down and the runners willcome out

hope this helps

If you unbolt the window regulator mechanism from the door you'll be able to slip it off the window mounts.

@Z3I, did you succeed? Which method did you use?

@Chris-W, do you mean the slider in the middle of this picture will slip out of the rail attached to the window?

I need to get the window out too, to replace the window guide rail in the rear of the door :(

Yep, worked like a treat. i undid the 3 bolts, and 2 nuts, moved the mech around inside the door, and the wheels slipped out of the guides. Window out ok!

Now after messing with the central locking I'll have a go at putting it back together.

Yep, worked fine for me too... Putting it back in wasn't so hard either, especially since I had an extra pair of hands helping me (doing it alone will be more difficult I think...)
