I've always had a few idling issues with the car, it seemed to be quite tempramental - high idle of about 1k to begin with, then up to 1200-1300 once warm, and sometimes doing that thing where it revs up and down between 800 and 1300 rpm.

Anyway, tonight I installed a BBTB and while I was at it, checked all the hoses for cracks or holes, gave everything a pretty good clean and made sure everything was good and secure when I put it all back together. When I started it, the idle seemed much smoother and settled to about 850-900 (I've heard that chipped engines run higher idles, this has a BBR Starchip), but as the engine temperature rose, the idle increased as it always has, until it was running at operating temperature and the idle was about 1250. So:

ICV is clean, no air leaks that I'm aware of, everything else is clean, I'd assume that the TPS is in good order on the BBTB - so that leads me to think its the blue temp sensor? Does that sound right? Anything else I can check/try?

Sounds odd. Idle speed should decrease as the engine warms up.
Sure that it's not just the stop on the throttle butterfly set to open too much?
Remove the ICV, block both pipes and see what the idle speed is like then on a hot engine.
