hi fellas,
anyone know off the top of their head where the indicator plugs etc go? re-wired a load of stuff yesterday to get rid of a ground problem with the stereo, now got no indicators. was only playing on the passenger side and behind the stereo. if anyone knows what i've likely disturbed or the colours of the wires etc that would speed up the job loads! btw hazards and off the alarm still work fine, its just the indicators.
cheers

just in case anyone does a search on this, the soln for me was just that fuse 4 had blown. just took a quick look and replaced.
other symptom was glovebox light not working, obviously i must have knocked it when working on the electrics psgr side...

If indicators don't work and fuse 4 isn't blown, then the usual cause is the hazard switch. Doesn't get used much, so when someone does use it, it doesn't make contact properly afterwards. Remove, strip and clean is the solution.
If indicators don't work, and fuse 4 is blown (post '88 cars only), then the problem is usually a disrupted glove box light. If it half falls apart or is left without a bulb fitted, it will blow fuse 4.

Heh. I'd been fitting a stereo and was getting my head around some mildly insane wiring (it's been crimped onto WHAT?) and then the indicators stopped working. I had a massive drive to Cumbria to do the next day so I was a little stressed over it - I got to the point of taking the steering wheel off to look at the indicator unit before I used the magic of the Zone. Of course, looking at the fuses a little harder in the first place might not have hurt
