Standard alarm on m3 cab
Moderator: martauto
Could anyone tell me how the standard alarm (on a M3 cab) with the funny looking key is supposed to work and what the little LED at the back under the number plate is for and when it's supposed to be on? Thanks in advance, Aky.

I think you need to go the dealers to get a key for the door lock, its some sort of magnetic key that goes in there. Its probably best to bin it anyway and get an aftermarket alarm as the factory one seem quite easy to bypass.
Thanks guys, it has a Clifford on it but just wondered how the original one worked.
Andrew, i can't seem to get onto that thread, it says "you are trying to access a restricted area"..
