Strangely indicators are on the same fuse as the glovebox light. Are you sure the glovebox light isn't shorting on something?

I only know this as when fitting my iPod interface I shorted the glovebox light several times, and ran out of 7.5A fuses, so used a 5A. While I didn't notice a prob the following morning, driving home that evening I was a little suprised to have no indicators. Replacing the no blown 5A fuse with a 10A did the trick until I got more 7.5A's.

Sorry for the life story, hope there is something of use there!

check the wiring loom connected to the Hazard Warning switch. The switch is a junction box for the whole indicator/hazard circuitry. These wires can chafe on the radio cage and cause all sorts of funny problems

However, this does sound like you have other problems too! sorry if this doesnt help...
