is it worth ripping out my a/c. honda's are 300 pounds. what are our and were are they located??? rhanx

No idea what the actual weight is, but purists would rip it out straight away as non-essential, but if your in the States then maybe it is essential.

It's quite involved to remove all the pipework, condensor etc.

not sure of the weight of the a/c, but it is very heavy, and the pump can use about 5-7hp, so with the weight loss and gain in hp, the car should want to go a bit more :drive:

I ripped out my A/C a few weeks ago but its all at my old house i go home and weigh it and get back to ya i think i weighed it when i took it out think it was around 10-15kg with pipes and everything but ill go check><><><><> :twisted:
