Ive just fitted the wiring in mine, I changed the power wire to a longer one as the fuse holder they supply will not be going anywhere near my engine bay, just straight to the bin
Heres the wire that comes with it.

And the wire I used with the correct connector on the end for the fusebox.

I used fuse 16 same as nadeem as it is only powered with ignition, may aswell follow suit, pulled out the original wire and pushed in the connector on my new length of wire.
No pics cause it was dark, I will make a connector for the dipped beam plug that will be left loose to save hacking into loom to switch the relay, the relay is cable tied upright down by the ABS pump and the earth wire is bolted to the common point in that area.

This is so so cheap for what looks to be an extremely nice kit.
Can anyone confirm this is a real Bosch supplied kit and not some rip off?
I have to say HID's are getting much much cheaper now and it can only be a good thing.
I look forward to haring more reviews, then I might get some for my Touring. F**k paying £230!

just received mine this morning.Looks a good quality kit,bit of modding to the loom as Dan has done to make it a neater install.I must admit though i wouldn't know the difference if it wasn't genuine bosch. They could have made up their own stickers. The proof as they say will be in the pudding !

I think they are genuine Bosch as they have a hologram on the ballasts and the stickers on the ballasts seem to be of good quality....a bit too much effort if they were fake
...there are some others now selling Bosch HID kits which blatently look fake and are more expensive

Just looked at mine, the hollogram has 'exsun' on it.

Quick google - http://www.exsun.com/Product.asp
Look familiar?

Only thing that looks dodgey to me is that the sticker has 'Made in Germany' on it.
If thats true then why are we buying them from the US?
Still, well worth the money IMO. Just a test of time now to see how they hold up with our lovely climate

These are fake Bosch HIDs kits as bosch doesn't make HID products anymore, they have a subsidiary company which is called AL (Automotive lighting).
Also just to if anything those look like Philips ballasts and are very good copies!
You really cant complain for £100 !!!

Well I got round to fitting the bulbs. Just got the ballast units or whatever theyre called to fit now.
Heres what I did, as you can see the bulbs are a bit too big, I found a couple of connector grommets from an engine loom I had lying about and filled them with sikaflex for extra waterproofing.

Atleast the facts are clear now - they are not bosch but they are stunning value for money.
I have been looking around and people are selling kits which look like shit next to these for over £320!!
I might even put a link up on the Zone Shop to these guys as it's better people buy something that's even better for a much cheaper price.

Just got mine finished.
No problems with the off side, mounted on the back of the plastic cover to keep away from water.

Then got to the near side

So had to mount it here

Noticed they make a quiet, high pitched noise when on, will put some night time pics up later.
