if you have heated washer jets chances are you have heated locks
and they were an option
ive had 3 e30s with this option

I've got heated washer jets and mirrors. Chances are I'll have these too? Heating the key up with a cigarette lighter has always done the job in the past for me.

You learn something new everyday, didnt know this was an option, how can you tel if there heated or not?

Had to spray deicer in lock to get in the car last nyt lol
