Listening. No i wasnt. Scrap the x5 abortion stu i bet you any money it will end up costing more than these anyway. As much as they are probably better id rather spend 90 quid on a great upgrade and 200 or 300 quid on engine or suspension setups than 50 quid on springs and 500 quid on lights!

so far, the X5 kit hasnt cost me a thing! the only thing it will cost me, is the bulbs

what i meant was, it seems like a lot of f*cking around with the X5 ones, as im not really sure what im exactly supposed to be doing, but these ones look pretty simple...

These are very simple....I used fuse number 16(heated seats) to wire the 12v supply as this way the supply is only active when the ignition is on and thus there is no drain on the battery when the car is off

doubtful, but dont quote me on it.

legislation says, that any car with xenon lights has to have headlamp wash system, and an auto-levelling system, but whether thats just from factory, i dont know?

I've had HIDs conversion kits on other cars without the headlamp wash wipe system + auto leveling system and I've never had any issues on MOTs 8)

The headlamp washwipe and auto levelling is only for cars that leave the factory fitted with the system, E30's will be fine for the MOT.

Obviously it will take me two weeks and some skimmed knuckles before i wire mine in as im hopeless with electrics; im relying on buster so i would hope he gets his in first. I also need to realign my lights before i put them in else some poor old women is going to loose her eyesight.

Im planning on putting a new, longer power wire in so I can fit the relay down by the ABS pump somewhere and use the common earth point in that area.
Should be straightforward 8)
