Ive just won 1 on ebay, a genuine accesory carphone with center console and all its modules etc, seller is not sure if it even works, im not fussed its just a cool thing, but if it does work, does anyone know how it wires in! I cant find anything on real oem, thanks.

it wont work as it is an analogue phone and there wont be a network for it to run on, will look later on real oem for you though and yeah its a cool thing!

I would imagine it is only useable on an "analogue" (pre GSM) network which I believe has been switch off in the UK, and probably the rest of the world !

oh yeah i dont want to actually make calls on it I have bluetooth nowadays lol i just want it to light up and beep and stuff.

hi mate,
i have the original car phone in my 1984 320i.... works and beeps and lights up! but as already said you can not make calls on the as they are old analogue, i have been thinking of looking into geting mine coverted as i know it is possible. There are some pics of mine in my car on the photo forum some where if ya anna check it out. One thing i do like about it is, it makes a great arm rest!!!!!

am not a big fan of the arm rests i think they look a bit to 'Bolt on' if you know what i mean..... ans who else has a armrest that lights up like a ufo!
