An odd one this....

My stereo has just started whistling/whining in line with the revs and its really annoying.... its quite loud and appears to come from the speakers!?!

I'm even finding myself limiting my speed/revs so that it is in the right key!?!?!?

Anyone got any solutions to get rid of said noise?

probably a poor earth somewhere. If you have an amplifier, check the earth is good on the amp and the head unit and that the resistance between the 2 earth points is 0ohms

then check the interconnect leads if there are any...make sure they are decent quality and the plugs are well soldered.

make sure the signal cables are kept well away from any power cable...If they have to cross, make sure they do so at right angles...

it could be a power cable running near the speakers, r u suing the orignal speaker cable, might be worth upgrading to something a bit better with more shielding
