HI all,

Thinking about boring out the throttle bodies on my 318is, any ideas what the optimum bore is?

Any advice/suggestions welcome...

Cheers!

Don't think there is an optimum bore really.

It'll have been sized as a compromise between progression off idle and not being too restrictive at the top end.

Can't imagine they cost much though so why not go as large as possible and see what happens :)

I was looking at doing the same thing to as i do abit of milling and turning at work. i thought the BBTB would be a pritty safe bet to copy if you could find out what the bore size is?

also there are two different types of IS throttle body that i know of so if you buy a second hand one make sure its the same as the one you,ve got on yours. :D not like i did!!
