Hi i just bought a Nardi wheel and i was expecting a straight switch between the standard steering wheel and the new one.....

Except.....

The Nardi doesn't have a hole through it to bolt it on! Anyone fitted one of these and can tell me how it fixes? Had a search and i can get the old one off, just not the new one on again :(

Help !?!!?! :(

Cheers all,

Nick

As Chris said, Remove the centre section (may be the whole t-shaped bit) and there will be a hole.

ok... i will try and describe the way it looks....

The wheel has NO hole through at all, but it does allan key on to the bottom section (BOSS?) which i can see could be bolted on, except the top wheel section allan keys on from behind, ie from INSIDE the boss!?!

Am i confusing everyone lol

Hmmm normally aftermarket wheels have a seperate boss and wheel. the boss in some cases needs to be bolted to the column first and the wheel fitted after.

But as the bolts come thru from the back i cant see this is possible? :?

Give me a few minutes and i'll see what i can find out. it is possible that the seller removed it from the car in two bits and then bolted it back together incorrectly when he sent it? :?

How on earth did you get the whole front panel, as it looks like its screwed on, and how does it fix back on?

Cheers

These are the photos that were sent to me, but as Tony's pictures above show the t-shaped pad need to come off to access the bolts.
