320i to 325i engine swap wiring question

got my 1989 325i motor installed into my 1983 320i rallycar got it running with 325i engine loom /ecu and 320 car harness .got a few wires spare that seem to be just checkin lights which im not bothered about , only thing thats happening after start up when driving is that when the accelarator floored is it hicupps once, and then runs normally .im doing the first round of bmw rally challenge next sunday ,will the thing run ok or packin ,i have lots of 89 325 wiring diags but am stuck with the 320 diags apart from haynes manuals can any one help

i fitted 325 engine loom back to ecu on mine nd hav had no probs easyer than messing about with spare wires nd wiring diagrams, unplug 1 plug new1 in
