I've got an irritating ticking noise coming from the injector rail (used screwdriver method to find it)
My question now is, is my injector fucked or is it a simple case of cleaning it out?
If it is fucked, where is the best place to buy new ones, how much are they and are injectors a general part where I could say, get them off a renault and they fit and work the same providing they are the same colour?

I have blue coloured ones off a 318i but the ones on my is are yellow I assume that the yellow ones allow more fuel through?

cheers guys
Bollocks to this 24v scrap!

Hi m8 you can get them ultrasonic cleaned at a bosch dealer/engine centre . not sure about swapping them from another model you'd need to check

or just turn stereo up

Theres a bosch company near heathrow airport where i went once to get my 325i injectors cleaned, they costed me Ԛ£100, i travelled there and i requested for them to send backas i couldnt be bothered to travel up there again, they came back looking new after 4 days as the turnover was 10 days so shoved them on and sweet as my pedgrees chum.

They changed all rubber seals, end caps soak test them, small filters in them and a printed sheet of injectors chart sheet before test and another after clean and its like a graph that shows you the difference e.t.c interesting..
