really weak spark

i'm still runnin round tryingt get this sport workin.
i traced it a red wire hat coms from the relay on he passenger side wheel arch. ran a new wire and now and its switchin on.

so thats that solved ont the next.

SPARK.

put a plug into the te coil lead, put he plug on the engine and the spark is nearly none exsistant. If i hold the plug about 10 - 20mm off the engine te spark is really stong.

the spark is the problem coz when i turn it ver it goes to start but doesn't quite get there. and when you take he plug out it is soaked in petrol.

any1 any ideas???

i had the same sort fo problem it wos the ecu i got a new 1 and it was fine
scot 328i with 260bhp

alternator mabey, as u did change the cables and dizz cap and arm on the hunt for the prob last time, init

or ignition coil, if you didnt change that either
