8) i have a 320i with 195's on, and was wandering if anyone knows what width i'd be able to go up to and not start rubbin on my wheel arches. also, if i get bigger rims, (i have 14's now) what size tyre do i want to keep the wheel size the same so as not to throw out the speedo reading.

I'm pretty sure 8" are the widest you can fit without rubbing.

can go up to 17". I have just put 15" on with 205 50 15 tyres and it looks and fits well. Be carefull to get the correct off set or you will have to but expensive hub centric wheel spacers on :x .

Im just about to order some 17" wheels with 215x40x17R Tyres

And as mentioned above, I will have to order spacers so the wheels dont rub.

Was quoted Ԛ£50 for the 4 spacers that Im going to need.
