Hi all,
My 318is seems to have developed a few odd vibrations...
Firsty, at around 65mph+ a vibration starts (seems to come from the rear of the car), and gradually gets worse as speed increases. The L/H rear wheel klunks every time it goes over a pothole (sounds like a bearing), and when slipping the clutch in traffic a very heavy vibration starts at low revs, and then goes once revs increase.
Also, every time I change gear the car seems to knock/bang (not very loudly) when I depress the clutch (as it disengages). Does anyone have any idea whether these are all related, and/or what may be causing them?
The car's going in next week, but it would be good to have an idea of what it may be when they give me a diagnosis...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Ben

Don't know why you're being ignored all afternoon. You upset someone?
Clonk from rear wheel is probably the damper top mount. Replace with E46 cab ones. Direct replacement, longer lasting and similar price.
For the vibration, check out the rubber guibo that joins the gearbox to the propshaft and the mount for the propshaft center bearing for starters.
