m20 oil pump
Moderator: martauto
im not entirly sure on this, but with basic fluid dynamics taken into account i think you should,
leave the valve as it is and get a higher flow pump to incrtease pressure + maintain standard flow.
open the valve up with the standard pump to maintain flow and reduce pressure
not entirely sure though, why do you want to increase pressure? it may blow seals/head gasket

Cars and girlfriends have alot in common.
They both make you angry+ make you cry, bleed your wallet + moan when they are old.
But at least the car makes sense!

In a word, DONT.
The oil pump uses a VERY FINE (read easily broken) drive.
This item is a hex shaft only aprox 5mm thick and is in the direct part of the drive to your pump.
Wanna see what a broken one can do, NO YOU DONT !
