Would I benefit from fitting E30 M3 ARB's?

Apologies if this has been covered before, done a search but to no avail.

I currently have 1987 E30 325i ARB's on, are the M3 ones even thicker?

Would I benefit from fitting these?

Obviously my ideal situation is to find an H&R ARB kit, but I don't have a spare £250!

The M3 ones won't do much.

The M3 guys upgrade to the H&R ones so their standard ones must be pretty much the same size as the 325i ones.

im sure i remember reading that the tourings have thicker bars??

could be wrong but sure someone will confirm or shoot me down soon

be interested to see whats best as i have 87 sport and will need to sort mine

Just get some off a six pot cab' or touring

Only 1mm difference to the front H&R kit from standard ( and a lot of loose change), and better to not make the rear too stiff as it helps with traction in bumpy bends.
