fitting the locking actuator motors, how?

i know where they go, but does the white plastic ring attached to the actuator motor just clip over the metal prong, or is there something else missing?

Short `S` shaped linkage that comes off the main lock mechanism,eyelet of the actuator hooks onto this linkage!
