Does anyone know of a xenon headlight conversion for the E30?
Do you need "driver units" to run xenon bulbs?
How is their performance measured? I'm guessing by lumens output and color temp?

have a look at ebay Germany ! They have different kinds of xenon headlight conversion kits.
from what I can see you need a driver unit to step the voltage up to start the lights off.
