electric aerial

hi,ive tested my electric aerial by putting the earth on the - and the red and white wire on the + all i get is a click from inside,is it buggered?!! any ideas?

the click is probably a relay inside the unit. if it doesnt go up with all 3 wires connceted, its buggered.

probably fixable with the right parts. may be a fried motor, or a loose/broken contact on the relay.

i would have it in bits by now.

i have fitted a new sterio in to my car it has an electric arial which wire do i need to connect to the sterio's arial activation wire?
