Hello guys and gals.
I recently succesfully installed megasquier II ecu in my e30 325i (ms2 writeup comming up shortly).
durning the install of MS few weeks ago I realized my battery is dead (after charging for 48 hours it wasnt fully charged, and it would do only 2 starts of the engine then went flat), so i got another brand new Bosch battery, which worked great. as with ecu install, few weeks involved alot of starting and some driving, and my brand new battery eventually went flat. However I noticed that while driving the voltage in the system is only 13.4V, as opposed to 14.4V as on a healty car.
does that mean my alternator is stuffed ?
is that the whole alternator or possibly only a rectifier ? or something else ?
