Hi I know it's pretty quiet on here but worth a try!
I have a weird problem
My RH full beam will not come on
LH is perfect comes on as required, stays on if stalk fwd and flashes if stalk pulled towards me.
Things I have checked
12v to the light when stalk activated
Earth seems good, I have continuity to the chassis
Fuses 1 and 2 checked and swapped across, no difference fault remains on RHS only
Bulb replaced
The only thing common to this circuit is I believe relay K3 ,but obviously LHS operates correctly, unless half of this relay is not working?

All other lights operate correctly.

Any thoughts please it's driving me mad 😠

So sorry for the late reply, (youngest`s wedding you know ) .
I had a very similar situation many years ago and it turned out to be the outside "caps/connectors" not making a decent circuit with the headlights themselves.
I had good voltage to the outside and the bulbs were all new but it kept going out without reason until I wiggled the cap around and found it made an intermittent circuit.
Might help you who knows, lets us all know if it is a plus or ...........................
Cheers Mart.
Only the E46 cab left now.

Has a similar problem to what the original poster described. Turns out it was a poor connection from the headlight plug connectors to the headlights. The various plug housings had aged & crumbled. New headlight plug housings and connectors soldered into the wiring loomed fixed all that.

Also worth cleaning up the earth point behind theLH headlight while you are at it

I've seen this problem several times, and it's exactly the problem described above.

Thanks for the replies,
I presume you mean the black cap that fits to the rear of the headlight assembly?
And the plug connector on the loom?
Are these parts available new? I had a look at realoem but it doesn't look like they're available separately.
I suppose a decent second hand headlight will sort it?
