When removing my fuel and brake line from the car the screws holding the brackets have sheered. Item 6 is the bush in this link
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=16&fg=15

How are they connected to the chassis? Is it just a hole drilled and the bush is popped in from the inside?

I believe they are NLA. What have people done about replacement/fixing said problem?

Had same problem,

Grind or cut broken stud flush with boss.
Drill and tap M3 or M4.

Fiddly.

Hi there , Ive run in to the same problem and ive only just realised the problem i have after getting it back from being sprayed/under sealed. When you say drill and tap a m3 or m4. Where exactly does it drill in to? Last thing i want it to go through the floor. If you can please clarify on exactly what i have to do it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
