Recomendations for fabrication/welding - North Herts

Hi,

It's been a long time since posting on this forum, very pleased to see it's still going.. I've dragged my car out of the garage and dusted off my username...

I have car that needs sills and jacking points, along with some fab work on the boot well area.. Perhaps a couple of other minor areas too, but these are the main ones.. I've been in touch with a couple of Resotoration firms locally but I get the impression they're really only keen on bare metal nut and bolt restos on classics that end up with high value, jags, porches, astons etc.

I guess the kind of work I'm after is somewhere between this and the standard MOT patch up welding if that makes sense?

Looking for recomendations for a business that would be interested in doing this work if anyone has any ideas please? I thought I'd ask here before going down the normal route of the interent and google reveiws.. Hoping to find someone with some knowledge of the cars who can perhaps offer advice also and look for other things that may need doing..

Who have you tried so far, I'm in Herts and need to get my car done at some point but I never got round to contacting anywhere. There doesn't seem to be any places that specialise in old BMW's in this part of the country and most places seem to be accident repair or full bare metal restoration.
