E30 1986 325 auto, propshaft problems. Help wanted
The gearbox to prop shaft u/j is worn and needs replacing when attempting to get a replacementi,m told that there is not a u/j on the front end of the prop only on on the rear axle end, the gearbox end is a guibo coupling. On checking with the local BMW dealer, OEM, and various suppliers they also say the same, I've had the car from new and know without doubt the propshaft has never been worked on or removed from the car for whatever reason it is as it left the factory when it was built in 1985. Has anyone had this same problem or have a prop with no guibo fitted, or throw any light on this. Thanks
