Hi all
I have a multiple leaks that I try to fix but I don’t seem to get anywhere with them.
The worst culprit is the drivers window adjustment. I can’t drop the back of the window and lift the front up enough to close the gap and keep parallel with the roof rubber, without fouling the rear window. The rear window then appears to be maxed out in adjustment.
Is there a answer to this?
The next two are boot related.
I brought a new boot seal and adjusted the latch so it closes tighter, but water still comes in over the seal.
The other is collecting in the left side of the boot in the well, towards the front of the car.
This makes me think aerial rubber? Or maybe somthing to do with the hood area?
Any help please. So tired of this car leaking even at the mention of rain.

This may help with the windows.

Boot leaks are usually the rear light seals.

Check the air flap seals...both sides of the boot behind the bumper...best remove rear bumper all together which is easy but you probably need a helper....make sure the aerial drain tube is correctly fitted or the water won't be expelled and ends up in the well.
Window alignment is a right bastard...but you should be able to get the front correct...has someone buggered about with the stop setting? This is done to reduce chafing the saggy roof...Bently has info too..

Thanks for the reply’s people.
The other week I had tried adjusting both windows.
I can get the drivers window to where I think it should be.
It then fouls the rear window. I then followed the guide on here to adjust the rear window, but it’s ran out of adjustment.
The motor had tried to seize at the main pivot point which I’ve now lubed along with all other moving parts. I wonder if the runners or somthing else is worn or bent?
Does that make sense?
I was unaware of a drain for the aerial so that will give me something to check.
The light seals i haven’t checked as water sits on top of the bulb holders and looks like it comes from above. However I will check them next week as it got to the point where I must explore everything now along with air flap seals.
Do bmw still have the seals or is it best to use something like butyl tape?

If you replace the light gaskets then BMW Cotswold on here were actually the cheapest I could find and fit 100%
Dont even think about making them, it`s not worth it.
