car sitting lower on one side :(
Moderator: martauto
hi chaps i lowered my e30 cabby with new uprated shocks and springs.. the driver side is sitting around 15/20mm lower on the front and rear! we tried a different lowering springs set but similar results so the parts are fine.. the rubber spring pads are in same condition on both sides.. please can any advise what this could be as the car looks wonky

Funny, my Saloon sits low on the left and I have stock springs and new shocks.
And we don't do rain here, well not much.

All comments by me should be taken in the right sprite, Jack Daniels is fine.
the spring i have on the rear is a very stiff one.. when i sit in it the car does not lower so dont hink water could make it move? if it deos have water in sill how can i check or remove it?
This is a fairly common complaint on e46 although not 15/20m that is a substantial amount. I cured mine on the e46 by fitting the thinner. (5mm) rubber spring seats on one side and thicker ones on the other. I think you can get 7.5 and 10mm ones. However at 15/20mm difference you need to make sure the trailing arm/beam bushes aren’t shot. Just an opinion

Yes check the rear beam is sat square...could have been jacked up on the beam which can pop the bushes and leave you at a drunken angle.
