hi everyone . i've not been here in AGES as my E30s been dormant for so long .
but just getting her ready for mot , there's the normal things i've lost broke and cant remember where they went
i replaced the x 2 fuel and brake line to the rear. and a larger pipe .i think for the breather. BUT in the engine bay its loose and ive no idea where it used to go ?
the other 2 fuel lines are in place but not this last rubber hose

Leave it exactly as it is , with the end of the hose tucked into reinforcement for the suspension turret.
IF your car had a cat. and other emissions equipment, it would connect to a carbon canister (big round knockout plate in the area behind the bumper mount), then to a solenoid valve (unused plug hanging from the wiring loom that goes to the AFM), and then on to a connection into the inlet manifold, under the throttle body, right next to the TPS. This connection is unused on your car, and must be blanked off with a small rubber cap. This cap perishes with age, and it's worth checking that it's there and intact.

There's no reason why it shouldn't be removed back as far as the rear of the car, as it was on pre facelift cars. The open end should positioned on the LH side of the car, however, to help prevent fuel leakage if the car ever ends up parked on it's RH side.

thanks for the answers guys. i did what you said. i didnt think i unplugged it,
the hose was dirty on the inside like it was never attached. shame i spent 40 quid in copper nickel pipe i didnt need lol
