Hey guys
Have recently bought a nice pair of bucket front seats for just 200 euros with minor upholstery holes on the driver's seat, passenger's is perfect (original cloth).
However the driver's seat is suffering from the typical gangster lean.Is there any easy fix for that?I have read somewhere that some wd-40 on the gears could repair the problem?
Any suggestions? :D

If the seat back screws are tight and If the brakecleaner / WD-40 cleans-up the seat locking mechanism (stopping the seat back from falling backwards)...
Then also check the seat shocks.
These tend to lose pressure and you have to manually raise the back of the seat.

One on each side for the backrest, and one on each side to raise/lower the bottom cushion.

Could you please specify where exactly WD-40 should be applied?

First, it’s much easier to remove the seat from the car. Use 17 mil socket to take out the four bolts and nuts
Take off the black plastic covers on each side of the seat.
Have a look down the recline mechanism and you’ll see a toothed looking ratchet arm.
