Hey, here I go again asking for your help :
So after doing a quick check up in my M40 engine bay I noticed that the first injector (closer to the transmission) was wet looking so I guess there goes an injector leak which also explains the strong fuel smell around the engine bay and the interior.
Will new seals repair the problem? Or that's a sign of a bad injector?
As always your help is appreciated!

You may be lucky and just need new O rings. Is the car driving as it should?

Power wise the car is ok , revving all the way to 6 and half no problem at all
Mpg is 28ish with mixed driving
However the car sometimes is having a rough idle, not sure if that's linked to the leaking injector

personally, unless you know the injectors were overhauled i would removed them all and have them professionally cleaned- injectortune refurbishedl mine for about £12 per injector.

It MAYBE the top O-ring where the injector and fuel rail connect.

I have personally seen M20 injectors that leaked from the body, those are not repairable, rare but it happens.

Have the injectors removed and sent out for proper ultrasonic cleaning, flow tested and checked for leaks and new seals.
