Can anybody tell me if the power steering rack on my 1990 320 is fixable. Can i get new seals? or is it a sealed unit.

It is leaking fluid from inside the rubber dust boots on both sides.

Cheers

Found this on the parts catalogue GASKET SET HYDRO STEERING 06/1988> 32131132798 $129.46.

TBH i'd just fit a good second hand rack or buy a recon exchange unit.

Cheers,

wow Ԛ£36 is very cheap, eurocarparts do a remanufactered one for Ԛ£200.

The steering is extremely vague at the moment so i'm hoping a new rack will sharpen things up. Let me know how yours is when its fitted.
