Hi guys, I’ve got a 318i convertible 1992, the exhaust is rogered and I need from the manifold back, including all brackets. Does anyone have a decent replacement option to the OEM one? (£1300!!!)

I’ve been told to steer clear of the replacement parts as they are dire. The stainless steel option is difficult due to the flat middle box.

Thanks Matt

i believe the law states cars befroe 93 , dont have to have a cat fitted providing they pass the emmissions test .
for a vehicle of thta YOM.
personally I go pattern part from first pipe from the manifold , then buy the second pipe back box which is quite long and chop of the rear box and fit a stainless steel back box as the back boxes are the one that go first because the water does do get burn away as they don't get nearly as hot as the front of the exhaust sys

I don’t think it does have a cat as it was registered on 1st Aug 1992.

Makes sense, I fancy something stainless on the rear for sure.
