Hi,
My cabby drivers side electric window has stopped working.
I opened the door and closed it again and the window started to work but it will not work at all now.I suspect the door loom In the rubber gaiter between the A frame and door. How easy is it to fault find and unplug the loom.
Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks
Peter

Wiggle the rubber gaiter and try the window again if it doesn't work swap the switch over and try again if it doesn't work then there could be a damaged cable in the rubber gator.

The rubber cover where the door loom goes into the A pillar is a plug, and can be unplugged from the pillar.
Certain wires/pins in this plug and socket are susceptible to corrosion if damp get past the cover. The connections for the window are not one of the susceptible ones, but corrosion can spread from the ones that are to them, and there's a good chance this is your problem.
Pull of the rubber cover to reveal the two locking tabs that need to be squeezed inwards to release the plug, pull it out, an examine what you have. It's possible that you have an internal break in the wire between the plug and the door, but this would be unusual.
When you reassemble, it's important that the rubber cover is fully fitted to the plug before you push it back into the socket, otherwise water will almost certainly get in.
The wires you are looking for are blue and black on the door loom and black/grey and purple/grey on the body side
